Today’s puzzle is Unicorn Garden by eeBoo Piece & Love which features the artwork by Kevin Hawkes. I really loved how colorful and beautiful this piece is. I saw it online a few months ago and then was lucky enough to stumble across it at my local thrift store, so I snagged it for a steal!
I was participating in the #onceuponatimepuzzlealong on Instagram last week, where you choose a fairytale-themed puzzle and this was my choice. I have a love/hate relationship with the finish on eeBoo puzzles. I love them because it’s shiny and shows off the colors really well but I hate it because it’s so glossy that it can be hard to see the pieces. I’m always a little annoyed when a finish forces me to stand to fully see the details enough to complete the puzzle.
This build was a little funny. In the beginning, after completing the edge and a bit of the inside, I started to struggle a little. I spent some time wondering why and it wasn’t until later that night that I realized that I hadn’t been looking at all the pieces. I had placed half of them in the box lid during sorting then I stuck the box under my desk and promptly forgot about them.🤦♀️Things picked up when I started again (with all the pieces).

Mushrooms & Butterflies 500 Piece Round Puzzle. This art style is GORGEOUS. I love the vintage look to this puzzle. The composition where the mushrooms run around the edge of the circle is really neat too.
Hummingbirds 500 Piece Round Puzzle. Another gorgeous round puzzle with vintage-style artwork. I love that they paired the hummingbirds with succulents on this one.
Still Life with Flowers 500 Piece Round Puzzle. No surprise that this one is on my list because I already own this and have done a video on it already.
